The Roosevelt Island Disabled Association and RIOC were so blessed to be able to provide youth on the island with book bags and school supplies last Saturday in order to help prepare them for returning to school. We realize that some youth were not able to participate in the event for various reasons. If you have a school age child or grandchild that was not able to attend the event and needs a book bag, we will be giving out book bags at tomorrow's food pantry in the 546 lobby. Please let the Public safety officer at the door know if you are not there for the pantry and are just coming for the bookbag. There will be separate table for that.
